Jesus Christ Superstar at HART

Smokin' in the Valley Barbecue Festival
Head on down to the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds this Friday & Saturday (7/22-7/23) and taste some of North Carolina's best BBQ! Tickets are $6 a piece or $10 for a 2-day pass for adults ($1 for children) and get you 2 ounce samples of pork from each participant. Can you say YUM?? Cole slaw, baked beans and samples of local wines will also included with soda, water, and Budweiser products sold nearby. Happy Wanderer's Hike to Devil's Courthouse
Spend your Thursday morning waking up with a beautiful hike to the top of Devil's Courthouse on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The hike is short, only a 1 mile round trip, but a little strenuous for those who aren't used to hiking at 5500 feet above sea level. This is a free event, open to whoever wants to join! Meet at the Senior Resource Center in Waynesville on 7/21 at 6:30am to get your daily dose of nature!
The Annual Folkmoot USA Festival starts this week! The 11-day long celebration has its official kick off Thursday, 7/21, at EagleNest Entertainment Center in Maggie Valley at 6pm with the Friends of Folkmoot Gala. It's a little pricey, with its cheapest option being 2 tickets for $150, but that includes international food & drinks, 10 group performances with over 200 dancers, and more!
