Spring 2010 looks to be another busy season at WTT
Wheels Through Time is looking forward to another great year this 2010, with countless new and returning events coming up this spring and summer. The museum will be kicking off its select weekend schedule this Friday, holding its first spring opening of the year coming this February 19-21. Many new machines are on display, and the museum collection is currently bigger and better than ever! Demonstrations of many of America's rarest two and four-wheeled machines will be held throughout the weekend.
Along with opening during select weekends throughout the year, the museum will be hosting several local, regional, and national events, rides, and rallies. Coming up this April 30th, the museum will open its new "Motoring the Parkway" exhibit, highlighting 75 years of Blue Ridge Parkway history. Just two weeks later, on May 13-16, the inaugural Asheville BikeFest kicks off in Asheville, NC, with several museum rides on the agenda throughout the weekend.
On May 19, 2010, the museum will also play host to the first Gypsy Run of the Cycle Source Big Mountain Run (BMR). Now in its second year, the BMR converges on the Great Smokey Mountains for a long weekend of some of the best riding, and best company in the country.
