      1. Celia Miles on

Here's a suggestion for raising money in this year if you want to include it in the next newsletter: Here's a way to help the Francis Mill without hurting your pocketbook, purse, or wallet. It simply requires (1) looking at every one dollar bill that comes your way, and (2) more importantly, putting aside every dollar bill that has an "F" in the circle to the right of George's face. Each dollar has an alphabet designation (apparently showing where they're printed). Some people might collect "C" for their name (Celia) or "J" (Jesus) for their church's use or "D" for "Disabled Veterans"--whatever. It is surprising how the dollars add up over the months and how you won't miss them. But the Society for the Preservation of Francis Mill can put them to good use. It's easy--once you start looking at each dollar bill. Why not try it for a month and see--whether you collect 2 or 20 bills? Once a year or once a quarter or once a month, send your collection of bills to Tanna Timbes at the Society for the Preservation of Francis Mill.
