Support the Animals of Haywood County.

If you find you need something fun to do this Friday night, July 8, come out for a grand ol' time at the Grandview Lodge. Steve Whiddon has gathered his musical friends together for a night of dinner, dancing and an array of musical talents including a special guest who sang with Wayne Newton and performed for years at The Frontier in Las Vegas.

Steve and his friends are donating their night to benefit the 4 non-profit groups who are dedicated to helping the abandoned, sick, and homeless animals in Haywood County. This is the first ever event to benefit all four groups. The groups include, STAR ranch (a refuge for neglected horses, dogs and cats), Sarge's Animal Rescue, HAWA/spay/neuter and The Francis Fund.

Tickets are $25 which includes a fish fry (broiled fish will be available) and all the fixin's, wonderful cobblers, dancing, music and a skit performed by HAWA. Some dogs and cats and a horse will be amongst the guest. A cash bar of beer and wine will be available.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. The event starts with cocktails and music at 6pm, an animal tribute at 6:30 and dinner at 7pm. Please support the animals of Haywood County.
