Well, it has been a long winter on many fronts, but mostly the weather! We had a share of snow and cold including up to 5 inches just this week! The kids who go to public schools in the county will be going to school well into June. They even have school this Saturday! Despite the winter weather I will point out that we had many, many sunny days complete with Carolina Blue skies. It may have been cold, but it was beautiful.
As we head into the spring season we always see a renewal in the Valley. New shops are preparing for their first season while established business spruce up their storefronts, menus, or offerings. This spring, Maggie Valley will have several news businesses to choose from including a pet grooming business, lunch spot. sign company, a trading post, among others.
A sure sign of spring is the opening of The Wheels Through Time Museum and Joey's Pancake House!
If it has been a while since you have been to our lovely mountains we personally invite you back to enjoy our quaint little town.
